Overview
Spanning several months, the BlackBuck redesign was a collaborative effort by the design team, aimed at improving the digital experience for truckers and shippers. The focus was on streamlining workflows, enhancing navigation, and optimizing fleet management to address key industry challenges.
Through extensive research, iterative testing, and close collaboration with stakeholders, the team created a scalable, and efficient platform, ensuring better control, visibility, and ease of use for its users.
Project Takeaways
Redesigning an existing app for the first time was both challenging and insightful. It required a deep understanding of legacy systems, user behavior, and constraints, making the process more complex than a 0-1 build.
A key highlight was contributing to the design system, ensuring scalability and consistency across the platform. This experience sharpened my skills in collaborative problem-solving, system thinking, and iterative design.
